‘Spider-Man 4’ might take a new turn where we see less of Peter Parker and more of Spider-Man.
Yes, you read that right. It looks like Peter Parker is going to step out of the spotlight, and his superhero side will get all the attention.
Alex Perez is a well-known reporter who knows a lot about Marvel movies. He recently shared some interesting info during a chat with The Cosmic Circus. According to Perez, things are about to change after three movies of getting to know Peter Parker and how he became Spider-Man:
“The idea now moving forward is to give him a sense of independence. In his mind, Peter Parker is no more… but Spider-Man lives on. Since he has either lost or detached himself from everyone he’s ever loved, all he has to keep him going is being Spider-Man, whether the city loves him for it or not. And as the title of Spider-Man continues to consume Peter’s life little by little, Peter Parker will take a back seat and continue to fade from existence slowly.”
So, we may start to imagine Spider-Man dealing with all the superhero stuff without Parker’s normal life getting in the way.
Tom Holland Says He’s Protective Over ‘Spider-Man’
Holland previously said he’s been talking with the movie makers about ‘Spider-Man 4.’ Tom wants to make sure that if they make another Spider-Man movie, it has to be really good and respect the character’s story:
“All I can say is that we have been actively engaging in conversations about what it could potentially look like for a fourth rendition of my character. … I feel very protective over Spider-Man. I feel very, very lucky that we were able to work on a franchise that got better with each movie, that got more successful with each movie, which I think is really rare, and I want to protect his legacy. So, I won’t make another one for the sake of making another one. It will have to be worth the while of the character.”
There are also rumors about Daredevil and Ant-Man showing up in ‘Spider-Man 4.’ There’s a chance we might see Kingpin, but the actor who usually plays him hasn’t agreed to come back yet. Right now, we don’t know when ‘Spider-Man 4’ will be out in theaters, but it’s reported that Sony is rushing the production.
