Bryan Cranston might be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to a recent rumor shared by scooper @MyTimeToShineH, Cranston met with Marvel Studios to discuss a mystery role. Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige often meets with many actors, so it’s not certain that Cranston will get a role. If he does, it could be for upcoming movies like ‘The Fantastic Four,’ ‘Avengers 5,’ or the new X-Men reboot.

He Has Two Rules To Star In A Superhero Movie
Cranston has never been in a comic book movie or TV show before. He previously said he’s interested in playing a smart villain who challenges the hero, though:
“I want to play an antagonist a fraction smarter than the protagonist, never dumbed down to give the hero an easy win. That’s frustrating and boring to watch.”
He added that he doesn’t want to play roles that have already been done many times:
“I don’t want to do a character that has been done several times before. I don’t want to be compared like, ‘Well, his Commissioner Gordon was yada yada yada.’ I don’t want to do that. I want to take something that hasn’t been done.”
Cranston then admitted he would love to play an X-Men character:
“Actually, that was the character, I’ll admit. Mister Sinister was the character I was thinking about.”
His ‘Breaking Bad’ co-star Giancarlo Esposito recently confirmed he will be in the MCU, though his role is still a secret. Esposito said it will be a surprising role and that there will be a series connected to it. Some think he might play Doctor Doom in the new ‘Fantastic Four’ movie. Esposito responded to this rumor by saying people should ‘talk it into existence.’
‘The Fantastic Four’ is set to be released on July 25, 2025.
