‘Stranger Things’ Fans Are Furious As They Will Have To Wait Longer For The New Season

Waiting for the new season of ‘Stranger Things’ has become harder for fans. It will take 9 more months to finish filming, making the wait longer than expected.

The wait for the final season of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ took a frustrating turn for fans. With Millie Bobby Brown’s recent announcement that the show still has about nine months of filming left, fans are expressing their disappointment over the prolonged wait.

Brown, who began starring in the show at the age of 11, revealed in recent updates that ‘Stranger Things” final season still has 9 months of filming left. Upon seeing this news via Pop Base’s tweet, fans began expressing their frustration with the process. Some even said they don’t want to watch it anymore, while others had a humorous approach:

“Nine months of filming ‘Stranger Things’? That’s longer than some relationships!”

Another wrote:

“9 months, man. A baby is born during that time. I don’t wanna wait that long.”

One of the fans also pointed out:

“They’re going to be in their 40s in this season.”

‘Stranger Things’ is Bidding Farewell to the Screens

Production of ‘Stranger Things” fifth and concluding season began in August 2022 but faced delays due to the Hollywood strikes. In general, a season’s shooting would wrap up in about 6 to 7 months, followed by post-production processes like editing and visual effects. However, this time around, expectations for the season’s premiere pushed to sometime in 2025.

Despite the excitement of reuniting with the cast for one last season, Bobbie Brown said she feels sadness as the curtain begins to close on their story.

Still, the final season promises to give fans an epic conclusion to the series, described by the Duffer Brothers as ‘season one on steroids’ in terms of scale. Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson, hinted at a potentially darker turn for the show, saying:

“It might sound messed up, but we should kill more people. This show would be so much better if the stakes were much higher, like at any moment any of these kids can kick it. I feel like we’re all too safe.”

Currently, ‘Stranger Things’ heads towards its grand finale with an eight-episode lineup and a massive concluding episode.
