Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Is Ready To Start Filming: Zendaya Is Rumored To Return

There is finally some news about Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 4’ after months with no updates.

The MCU film faced delays due to the Hollywood strikes in 2023, and its plot details are yet to be revealed. But The InSneider says that things are moving forward in the studio.

The word is that ‘Spider-Man 4’ will start shooting between September and October. Marvel Studios is on the lookout for a director right now. The ‘Fast & Furious’ director Justin Lin is one of the names considered for the job.

Zendaya might be coming back as MJ, too. However, neither Marvel Studios nor Sony has confirmed the news yet.

Possible Release Date For ‘Spider-Man 4’

The first three films of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man franchise came out two years apart from each other. But ‘Spider-Man 4’ has broken that streak. The gap between the new project and ‘No Way Home’ already hit three years.

MCU movies usually start filming a year before their release. So, if the filming does start in late 2024 and there are no more delays, we might see ‘Spider-Man 4’ in theaters by the end of 2025.

Sony also has an unnamed Marvel movie planned for June 27, 2025. But the schdeule might change to fit the fourth film in that slot.
