‘Winx Club’ is coming back with a brand-new CGI-animated series that will stream on Netflix.
‘Winx Club’ creator Iginio Straffi has been working on this revival for a while, especially after the Netflix original ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ was canceled. Rainbow Studios will be the team behind the new series, and they just confirmed that it will debut on Netflix next year. According to Rainbow Studios, this new series will have a ‘total fresh look‘:
“‘Winx Club’ is set to enchant old and new fans with this all-new animated series, bringing the Magical Dimension to life like never before. This innovative adaptation will reimagine the classic tales of Bloom and her friends, blending the show’s cherished themes with contemporary storytelling and sensational visual effects.”
There will also be a new toy line from Playmates Toys and Giochi Preziosi featuring fashion dolls, accessories, role-play toys, and playsets.
The Story Will Follow Bloom Again
Rainbow Studios also teased what’s to come with this new series:
“We will rediscover the journey of Bloom, a teenage girl from Earth who finds out she is a fairy with extraordinary powers. As she enrolls in the Alfea College for Fairies, Bloom will form the Winx Club with her new friends, embarking on fairy adventures across magical dimensions. Let’s get ready to fly.”
Iginio Straffi expressed his excitement about working with Netflix again and partnering with Playmates Toys and Giochi Preziosi. He believes these collaborations will help make the Winx Club’s return successful both on screen and in stores:
