Fringe Cast Now: What Happened To John Noble, Anna Torv, And Joshua Jackson

Over its five-sesaon run, ‘Fringe’ had a large cast of actors to portray some of the most loved science fiction characters on TV. After the series ended, though, all of these actors, including John Noble, Joshua Jackson, and Anna Torv, went their own ways.

After a long journey through mysterious events, Fox’s science fiction series ‘Fringe’ wrapped up its story in 2013. Almost a decade has passed since we bid farewell to the world that blended many elements from  ‘Lost,’ ‘The X-Files,’ and ‘The Twilight Zone.’

The show’s cast, including Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, and John Noble, embarked on different paths following the series finale. Let’s delve into the current whereabouts of these actors.

Blair Brown (Nina Sharp)

The actress, who played the executive director of Massive Dynamic, has had a growing career post-‘Fringe.’ Her notable appearance in Netflix’s ‘Orange Is The New Black’ caught many eyes, while her other TV appearances included ‘Elementary,’ ‘Limitless,’ and ‘Jack Ryan.’

Lance Reddick (Phillip Broyles)

Leaving his role as the head of the Fringe division behind, Reddick had a memorable career, marked by roles in ‘Bosch,’ ‘The Wire,’ and ‘John Wick.’ His filmography included ‘The Guest,’ ‘Oldboy,’ and ‘Angel Has Fallen.’ Although he passed away from heart disease on March 17, 2023, the actor will appear in 2024 releases such as ‘Percy Jackson And The Olympians’ and ‘Ballerina.’

Jasika Nicole (Astrid Farnsworth)

After the show, Fringe’s FBI Junior Agent starred in ABC’s ‘The Good Doctor’ and appeared in shows like ‘Scandal’ and ‘Station 19.’ She did voice acting for animations and video games, including ‘Adventure Time,’ ‘Justice League Action,’ and ‘Agents Of Mayhem.’ While also an illustrator and fashion designer, the actress last played Michelle in ‘Identiteaze’ and appeared in ‘Fantasy Island.’

John Noble (Walter Bishop)

Famous for his role in the ‘Lord Of The Rings’ trilogy, Noble took part in ‘Sleepy Hollow,’ and ‘Elementary,’ while voicing characters in ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ and ‘L.A. Noire’ after ‘Fringe.’ His recent works include Amazon Prime’s ‘Hunters’ and ‘The Boys,’ and he’s set to feature in upcoming projects like the new season of ‘Severance.’

Joshua Jackson (Peter Bishop)

After playing the son of a mad scientist for five seasons, Jackson starred in Showtime’s ‘The Affair’ and Netflix’s ‘When They See Us.’ He appeared in 2020’s ‘Little Fires Everywhere’ and 2021’s ‘Dr. Death.’ The actor last played Dan Gallagher in Paramount+’s ‘Fatal Attraction.’

Anna Torv (Olivia Dunham)

Torv, the main lead in ‘Fringe,’ has since starred in Netflix’s ‘Mindhunter,’ ‘The Newsreader,’ and ‘Fires’ while her film work included ‘Stephanie,’ and ‘Scarygirl.’ She voiced a character in ‘Heavenly Sword’ and appeared in HBO’s ‘The Last of Us.’ Currently, the actress is waiting for the release of ‘Force Of Nature: The Dry 2’ in 2024 and will feature in the romantic drama ‘So Long, Marianne.’
