Can Jessica Jones Return to ‘Daredevil: Born Again’?
‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ features elements from Netflix’s Defenders saga. The potential addition of Jessica Jones would align with this direction, especially given her history with Kingpin and the narrative possibilities her investigative expertise offers.
Ritter was cast in ‘Jessica Jones‘ in December 2014. The series debuted on Netflix in November 2015, followed by two more seasons, with its final season airing in 2019. Initially part of Marvel Television’s production, the series, along with its counterparts ‘Daredevil,’ ‘Luke Cage,’ and ‘Iron Fist,’ led to the crossover miniseries ‘The Defenders.’
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2025. The series, undergoing a creative overhaul to more closely align with the Netflix series’ tone, promises fresh storytelling with familiar faces. With 18 episodes planned, it’s part of the MCU’s Phase Five. Besides the ‘Daredevil’ rumors, Ritter is also involved in a new comedy project, ‘Fuddy Meers.‘
