In a recent conversation with IGN, Jack Black shared his way of getting into character for the ‘Minecraft’ movie — playing the game for hours on end.
According to what the actor told IGN, he spent a big portion of his preparation time in Minecraft. In fact, he dedicated a month and a half to play the game:
“I have literally been exclusive to Minecraft for the last month and a half — all Minecraft, all the time. I’m in a little movie called ‘Minecraft.’ I don’t want to brag, but it’s kind of a big deal. So I studied hard and learned, and I was getting really into it, building houses and tunneling around. Now I’m getting back into it — it’s pretty rad.”
