Rumor: Marvel Still Has Plans For Captain Marvel’s Return

Marvel believes in her character and has exciting plans for her.

‘The Marvels’ didn’t make much money, but it seems Marvel doesn’t want to give up on Captain Marvel.

We might not get a new Captain Marvel movie right away, but reports say that Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers will still have a big role in the MCU. Insider Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus recently shared that she is expected to have two important roles:

“I have heard Carol’s role in the MCU as of now is to focus on two things. The first is to decipher the true origin of the Quantum Bands from ‘The Marvels,’ with Carol presenting her bangle to Wong and Banner, while Kamala does the same, albeit with a couple of new friends on the way. The second thing is to find a way to bring Monica back to the MCU, but given what we know about incursions, they might find their way back to each other sooner than they think.”

Why ‘The Marvels’ Ended Up Being a Flop?

‘The Marvels’ is a follow-up to the first ‘Captain Marvel’ movie and connects with ‘WandaVision’ and ‘Ms. Marvel.’ However, it didn’t connect with fans. The film earned just $205.8 million worldwide, which is pretty low for a Marvel movie. Critics didn’t like it either and gave it a 62 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Teyonah Parris, who plays Monica Rambeau, suggested that fans should give it a chance without judging it beforehand:

“You do not have to like something, but give it a chance by actually seeing it and forming your own opinion. And if you did, then that’s fair. That’s how you feel, and I cannot take that from you.”

Peter Parker May Fade Away in Spider-Man 4

Perez also said that ‘Spider-Man 4’ will focus more on Spider-Man’s adventures and less on Peter Parker’s everyday life. He shared that after spending three movies getting to know Parker, the next movie will show Spider-Man striking out on his own.

Rumors also suggest that Daredevil and Ant-Man might show up in ‘Spider-Man 4,’ and we might see the return of the villain Kingpin. We currently don’t know when ‘Spider-Man 4’ will be released. It seems like they’re working hard to make it happen soon, though.
