Millie Bobby Brown Admits She Hates Films Except ‘Barbie’

Millie admits she’s not a fan of watching movies, but she makes an exception for ‘Barbie.

Millie Bobby Brown recently spoke to the Sun and revealed she doesn’t like watching movies — not even her own. There’s only one exception, and it’s ‘Barbie.’

While promoting her new hit film ‘Damsel,’ Brown shared that she finds it hard to sit through films, except for ‘Barbie.’ She explained:

“I don’t watch movies. People come up to me and say, ‘You should definitely watch this movie; it would change your life.’ And I’m like, ‘How long do I have to sit there for?’ Because my brain and I don’t even like sitting for my own movies.”

However, Brown gave ‘Barbie’ as an exception and described it as a ‘big hug of pink and happy women’:

“Yes, I Barbied. How could you not? Like, honestly, that would be the last straw. No Instagram, no TikTok, no Barbie . . .  ‘who are you?!’ Barbie is what the world needs. You know, just like a big hug of pink and happy women. Just that made me so happy.”

Brown is Not Alone, Though

Other well-known actors like Emma Stone, Jared Leto, and Megan Fox also don’t like watching their own movies. They prefer to remember their experiences of making the film rather than watching themselves on screen.

When Millie does decide to watch something, she likes to keep busy with other activities. She told the Sun that she eats too much because she’s bored or does something with her hands.

Brown is engaged to Jake Bongiovi, who is a big movie fan. They are currently planning their wedding, and Brown asked Matthew Modine to officiate it.
