Natasha Lyonne Joins Marvel’s Upcoming ‘The Fantastic Four’

She will join Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby in the film, which is set to release in July 2025.

‘American Pie’ and ‘Russian Doll’ actress Natasha Lyonne recently joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ ‘The Fantastic Four.’

As per Deadline, Lyonne is the latest addition to the cast, but her role is currently unknown. Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic). Vanessa Kirby is set to play Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman). Joseph Quinn will be Johnny Storm (the Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will play Ben Grimm (The Thing). Julia Garner will portray the Silver Surfer.

Other cast members include Paul Walter-Hauser, John Malkovich, and Ralph Ineson.

Lyonne Has A Busy Schedule These Days

Lyonne starred in and produced the series ‘Poker Face.’ The show received several award nominations and is now working on its second season. She also created and starred in the Netflix series ‘Russian Doll.’ This show also won three Emmy Awards and received 14 nominations in total.

The actress directed the Netflix comedy special ‘Jacqueline Novak: Get On Your Knees.’ She also recently finished filming ‘Klara and the Sun.’ It’s directed by Taika Waititi and stars Amy Adams and Jenna Ortega. Lyonne is also producing and co-starring in the movie ‘His Three Daughters.’ She will also lend her voice to Paramount’s new animated ‘Smurfs’ movie in 2025.

‘The Fantastic Four’ will be directed by Matt Shakman, who also directed ‘WandaVision.’ The script is written by Ric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer. Production is set to begin in London in August 2024, and the movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 25 next year.
