Jack Quaid: Homelander Could Easily Kick Superman’s Ass

The actor shares why Homelander would have a bigger chance to win against Superman.

Antony Starr’s ‘The Boys’ co-star, Jack Quaid, previously suggested that Superman would win a hypothetical fight against Homelander. Starr recently sat down for a chat with Screen Rant to talk about the show’s upcoming Season 4 and opposed to the Hughie Campbell actor’s comments:

“Oh, really? Is that what he thinks? Here’s why Homelander would kick Superman’s ass. There’s no Kryptonite factor, and Homie would fight so dirty. He’s the [type to go], ‘Oh, you got me!’ as he goes down and then comes up and throws sand in your eyes. He’s a dirty dude, man. Whereas Superman is always like, ‘Oh, I wouldn’t do that. Oh, there’s innocent children that might get hurt.’ Homie’s going to human shield himself with the kids.”

Starr’s Co-Star Thinks Superman Would Be The Winner Because…

Jack Quaid commented on the matter earlier this week as both a ‘The Boys’ cast member and the Superman voice actor in ‘My Adventures with Superman.’ He told Screen Rant:

“[Superman] has to [win], right? Like if he doesn’t, we’re all in trouble. I think my particular version of Superman has a lot of growing to do, and he still needs to discover some more of the powers that we all know are in there but give him a few seasons, and he can take Homelander, for sure.”

Quaid’s DC hero returned in the animated show’s Season 2 on HBO Max on May 25.

Homelander Becomes More And More Unstoppable In ‘The Boys’ Universe

Meanwhile, ‘The Boys’ Season 4 is waiting for release. Homelander is getting more power in the new episodes as Victoria Neuman inches closer to presidency under his control.

Prime Video works on Season 4’s international dubs ahead of its release on June 13. The cast features Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, and Erin Moriarty, as well as newcomers Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
