Javier Bardem Admits He Has A ‘Romantic’ Fantasy About Brad Pitt

He admires Pitt and enjoyed their time working together on a movie about Formula 1 racing.

It was during this conversation that Bardem confessed his fantasy of starring alongside Brad Pitt in such a movie. “I would love to do a romantic comedy. Exactly. And he’s Brad Pitt!”

Bardem and Pitt Work Together in the Set

Bardem also talked about his experience working with Pitt on an untitled Formula 1 project. Despite his initial lack of interest in Formula 1 racing, the script’s focus on the human elements and the pressures faced by drivers led him to appreciate the sport, especially after witnessing Pitt’s talented portrayal of an F1 driver firsthand.

In the interview, Bardem praised Pitt for his openness and positive energy on set, as they were factors that greatly contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable working environment. Reflecting on their time together, Bardem noted:

“I knew him a little bit, but not much. I grew up watching [him], and I think he’s an amazing actor. We had so much fun. He’s so open, he’s so in the game. He doesn’t care. He is like, ‘Bring it on.’ We played tennis, and it was fantastic.”

The actor then expressed his admiration for Pitt’s personality, charismatic energy, and approachability:

“I mean, he’s 60 years old, and you cannot believe it. He’s handsome, but he’s more. Of course, he’s handsome, but it’s about — well, you know what it is? It’s the energy. The behavior, the action, the feeling, the vibe. He comes to a set, and everybody’s comfortable. He made me feel relaxed, like, in a second.”

After his recent appearance in ‘Dune: Part Two,’ Bardem is set to star in ‘Bride of Frankenstein,‘ the that we mentioned, and . Pitt, on the other hand, has a busy schedule with eight upcoming projects.
