‘Stranger Things’ is Bidding Farewell to the Screens
Production of ‘Stranger Things” fifth and concluding season began in August 2022 but faced delays due to the Hollywood strikes. In general, a season’s shooting would wrap up in about 6 to 7 months, followed by post-production processes like editing and visual effects. However, this time around, expectations for the season’s premiere pushed to sometime in 2025.
Despite the excitement of reuniting with the cast for one last season, Bobbie Brown said she feels sadness as the curtain begins to close on their story.
Still, the final season promises to give fans an epic conclusion to the series, described by the Duffer Brothers as ‘season one on steroids’ in terms of scale. Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson, hinted at a potentially darker turn for the show, saying:
“It might sound messed up, but we should kill more people. This show would be so much better if the stakes were much higher, like at any moment any of these kids can kick it. I feel like we’re all too safe.”
Currently, ‘Stranger Things’ heads towards its grand finale with an eight-episode lineup and a massive concluding episode.
