‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Goes Under Surprising Changes In Cast

‘Wednesday’ is back for Season 2 with a few surprises in its cast lineup.

‘Wednesday’ fans will see some new faces and say goodbye to some familiar ones.

Big changes are coming to the ‘Wednesday’ cast as the show prepares for its second season on Netflix. As per Variety, several actors will not return as regulars. Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe, will not be coming back. Naomi J. Ogawa and Jamie McShane, who played Yoko Tanaka and Sheriff Galpin, also won’t be regulars this season.

Hynes White’s character seemed to be growing closer to Wednesday in the first season. McShane will appear in a few episodes to finish up his character’s story from Season 1.

Addams Family Gets More Screen Time

Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordonez, who play Morticia, Gomez, and Pugsley Addams, are stepping up as regulars. Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Sheriff Ritchie Santiago) will also join them.

Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, and Georgie Farmer are returning to the show. He’s busy with another project about Uncle Fester, but fans will also see Fred Armisen again.

Jenna Ortega is not just the star this season; she’s also a producer. She previously said the show will focus more on horror elements this time:

“We’ve decided we want to lean into the horror aspect of the show a little bit more. Because it is so lighthearted, and a show like this with vampires and werewolves and superpowers, you don’t want to take yourself too seriously.”

The first season of ‘Wednesday’ is still available on Netflix.
