‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Joins ‘One Piece’ Cast For Season 2

The new season is expected to be released in 2025.

A ‘Game of Thrones’ actor joins ‘One Piece’ Season 2 cast, and fans think he resembles his character way too much!

Clive Russell, who starred as Brynden Tully in ‘GoT’ is joining the cast of Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ live-action adaptation for its second season. Russell will play Crocus, the doctor of the Roger Pirates and the caretaker of Laboon, the giant whale.

Other new cast members are also announced along with Russell. David Dastmalchian from ‘The Dark Knight’ will play Mr. 3, a key villain from the Little Garden Arc. Jazzara Jaslyn will portray Miss Valentine, Camrus Johnson will be Mr. 5, and Daniel Lasker will be Mr. 9.

Werner Coetser and Brendan Murray are also joining the cast as the giants Dorry and Brogy.

Cast News Hint at The Show’s Direction

They confirm that the upcoming season will cover two major story arcs: the Little Garden Arc and the Reverse Mountain Arc. Fans will meet the giants Dorry and Brogy in the Little Garden Arc. The Reverse Mountain Arc will feature Crocus and Laboon, who is an old friend of Brook.

Fans are excited to see Crocus’s interactions with the Straw Hat Pirates. This includes a funny scene with Zoro and Sanji at the Twin Cape Lighthouse. According to the fan comments, many believe the actors look just like their characters from the manga and anime.

The cast announcement also suggests that filming for the second season started or will begin soon. Season 2 is expected to come out in 2025.
